Our Experience

Owner Andy Davis has almost 40 years experience in East Asian food establishments. After nearly a decade in the corporate world, he followed his passion and opened his first Thai restaurant in 2004.

 

 Since then, Andy has grown his culinary ventures to include two restaurants and three takeaways, all thanks to his dedicated team of Thai chefs.

 

Take Thai’s team consists of six Thai chefs, boasting almost 100 years experience between, gained from working in Thai restaurants both locally and in their homeland.  Each chef brings their own unique regional knowledge and personal experience to the table, contributing to the authentic flavours and presentation in each dish.

 

Heading up Take Thai Catering is Chef Dee, whose culinary journey spans over 40 years, including 30 years as a head chef.  With almost 4 decades spent honing her skills in Thai cuisine, she takes pride in serving her culinary creations to the local community in Norfolk, as well as having served esteemed guests over the years, such as Thai ambassadors, celebrities and numerous Thai temples.
